Dr.R.Kavidha is a Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, M.P.Nachimuthu M. Jaganathan Engineering College, Chennimalai. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree (Civil Engineering) from Periyar Maniammai College of Technology for women, Vallam, Thanjavur in the year 1996. She did her Master’s degree in the specialization of Environmental Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore in the year 1998. She awarded her PhD from Anna University, Chennai in the area of Ground Water Potential Evaluation in Erode District Using GIS and Remote Sensing in the year 2013. Her area of interest is pollution control, analysis of various environmental problems, GIS and remote sensing. She has more than seventeen years of experience in teaching. She has published papers in reputed International and National Journals and also presented papers in National and International conferences.  She received grants from various organizations like ISRO, TNSCST and CSIR. She is the Member in ISTE, ISSE, IAH and ISRS. She has organized more programmes as a  Co-ordinator and attended more conferences, seminars, workshops, STTPs, SDPs, etc.
