Dr.M.RAMESH M.E,Ph.D.,

PRINCIPAL

Dr.M.Ramesh has more than 20 years of teaching experience and three years of industrial experience. He has completed BE Mechanical Engineering from Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai in the year 1994, and ME Engineering Design from Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai in the year 1998. He obtained his Ph.D degree under the faculty of Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in the year 2015.

He started his career as a Process Control Engineer in TEXVEL (Foundry Division) Coimbatore, wherein he contributed towards the improvement of casting yield and minimize the casting rejection percentage through the modification of the gating system. He has published five papers in peer-reviewed International Journals and five papers in National Journals. He has presented 10 papers both in the National and International Conferences. He has completed projects sponsored by Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology, Chennai under the Students Project Scheme. He has organized eight seminars/workshops and two international conferences.

He is a member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Indian Society of Systems for Science and Engineering (ISSE), and Indian Society of Mechanical Engineering (ISME). His areas of research include metal matrix composite, metal casting, and Tribology. He is the reviewer of various International Journals. He received award as Innovative Technological Research (Mechanical Engg.)  and Dedicated Academician at University of Mara, Malaysia.
